Over the last few months of 2012, the Implementation Committee held a series of Listening Sessions throughout District 10. We are excited to share the report coming out of that work.
The perspectives shared in this report will guide us in our work of building a long-term strategy that supports more affordable housing options and living wage opportunities for District 10 residents.
Over 400 people attended the 19 sessions, filled out surveys and participated in lively discussions about the future of the District. Some residents are facing foreclosure and don’t know how to access help. Others are facing stringent housing criteria that they cannot meet— making it harder to access quality affordable housing. Many have already attended job training programs or received affordable housing services and had incredible insights on how this work can be improved in the District.
You may view, download and share the report below. We are excited to get to work on improving housing and employment outcomes in District 10.
