Join us next Saturday, September 15 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the annual Party for the Parks at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park.

Party for the Parks is almost sold out! For those of you who have not yet purchased tickets to the event, this is your last chance.

The Party benefits the work of the San Francisco Parks Alliance and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department to transform 13 playgrounds across the city. Join us, and ensure that more than 20,000 children in San Francisco have safe, imaginative places to play!

Watch Party: US Open Women’s Final at Golden Gate Park Tennis Center

Please join us with the Tennis Center Coalition and SF Rec & Park as we kick off the “final set” of fundraising to renovate Golden Gate Park Tennis Center. The Party for Golden Gate Park Tennis Center will feature fun and engaging on-court activities, great prizes and a live screening of the US Open Women’s Final on a huge HD screen. Enjoy tennis and community while eating delicious food, and sipping your favorite beverages in the beer and wine garden.

Candlestick Point State Recreation Area Campground Ribbon Cutting

California State Parks and Literacy for Environmental Justice (LEJ) are excited to announce the new Candlestick Point State Recreation Area campground. A ribbon cutting and dedication will be celebrated Thursday, September 20.

This project includes six campsites, trail enhancements, native plantings, and interpretive signage that will better serve California’s diverse population. These improvements were identified in the state recreation area’s 2012 general plan.
