Rental Readiness : 2/23/2017

Finding affordable housing in the City is no easy task. In this interactive class we help you navigate the challenges of finding AND getting a rental in San Francisco. Landlords have their choice of tenants; our rental certification program gives you a jumpstart! Join us to create a solid budget, review your credit reports, get support to complete your application AND learn about our rental assistance loan (eligibility upon completion of the workshop and individual counseling session). Credit Matters Pt 2– (Prerequisite CM Pt 1)

By popular demand, we are pleased to announce the NEW CREDIT MATTERS PART II! Credit Matters Part II takes a deeper dive into how to resolve collections, negotiate with creditors and settle debt. We’ll look at special rules for private vs public student loan debt, the common but illegal practice of “re-aging” derogatory accounts, and the tax consequences of settling debt and how the IRS says you can avoid paying taxes on forgiven debt.
