The community panel will cover a series of topics related to the history, culture and art movements of the African Diaspora in the greater Hunters Point area. All of the panelists are prominent contemporary artists who live and thrive within this community. They are and continue to be dedicated to service through artistic expression. The panel will be moderated by Tyra Fennell and includes Malik Seneferu, Thomas Tandy, Horace Washington, Ron Moultrie Saunders and Kristine Mays. NOTES: BMAGIC is honored to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2 day (non-overnight)2017 Self-Care Retreat taking place on a Thursday and Friday from 10am-4pm. Our purpose in creating this program is to educate front line staff on various self-care modalities and encourage a shift in organizational culture to allow for these practices to be scheduled into daily work life.
