We are anticipating at least 4,000 attendees, and the program promises to be amazing! Join us and help girls feel empowered, educated, inspired, and, most-importantly, confident in who they are!

NOTES: For all Middle and High School students of SFUSD. Students will participate in fun hands-on experiments, engaging workshops and interact with researchers, graduate students and professionals in STEM fields. Families will hear from diverse pool of STEM professionals, as they share their expertise and experience as a way to encourage and provide resources to students of color to pursue careers in sciences. *There will be 3 workshops to choose from: SHARK TANK – 1. Shark Tank Workshop ~The World of Ideation: In the Shark Tank workshop, learn about how new technology products are designed, developed, and sold, as you come up with your own startup. STEM SPEED NETWORKING/The LinkedIn Rock Your Profile 2. The LinkedIn “Rock Your Profile” Workshop: there’s no better place online to present yourself professionally other than LinkedIn. The LinkedIn workshop is the best way to make sure you stand out from the pack! STEM SPEED Networking Workshop: Ask those questions you have always wanted to ask about working in Science and Tech. Get a Snapshot of the Variety of Careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields. DNA BARCODING 3. DNA Barcoding: Learn the Science Behind the Discovery of New Species:  learn how scientists are using genetics to identify new species. There are many plants, animals, microbes and fungi that are unknown to science. NOTES: A night of healing and transformation that features local poets, artists, and activists speaking out against sexual violence. A unique and supportive space for expression and community building, the event envisions building an anti-violence movement that prioritizes survivors, people of color, people with disabilities, immigrants, low-income and incarcerated individuals, transitionally housed women, queer women of color, youth and others who have been marginalized or silenced. This year, we are excited to showcase the artwork of women with disabilities whose work emphasize the connections between disability, sexual violence and social issues. SLIDING SCALE DONATION: $5-20 Youth (Under 18) $15-50 Adults.
