Alive & Free Leadership Academy Begins!
(Family Meeting to follow) Everyone is welcome to join, listen and learn on the first day of the Leadership Academy, our core program in carrying out our mission to keep young people Alive & Free… and Educated. With 216 college graduates, the Academy offers a safe learning environment where academic excellence is the norm and dreams and aspirations of successful living are a reality. We support young people between the ages of 14 to 24 in developing verbal, research and writing skills along with the discipline needed to succeed in both college and work environments. For students interested in college, scholarships are available upon successful completion of the program. Come on over to the Club! Bring your friends, too! |

Eric Welch Interns in Ecuador |
This past summer our Collegian Eric Welch studied Spanish and accounting abroad in Ecuador. He is currently majoring in Political Science at Florida A&M University.
Eric interned at Centro de Americano, a place where locals went to learn English. “Some people spoke English, some didn’t so we worked together to communicate. They treated me with respect, always willing to teach me something. They showed me a lot about accounting. As I learned how to do all the accounting work in Spanish, I feel like this is something that can help me out right now as an Accounting Assistant. I still have a lot of learn, but I was able to learn.”
