Registration is Open for Mission Bit Fall 2016 Courses

Mission Bit

Registration is Now Open!

Mission Bit is excited to announce the launch of our Fall 2016 courses. If you know any high school student in San Francisco interested in learning how to code please encourage them to register for their free Introduction to Web Development course. They are leading four courses across three campuses this semester.

The deadline to apply is September 16th at 5pm. Courses begin the week of September 26th and run until December 15th.

In addition, Mission Bit is offering $599 stipends to a select cohort of students participating in their leadership development fellowship. As a part of the fellowship,  students will learn how to code, take part in service learning projects and get an opportunity to work on issues most affecting residents in San Francisco. Please indicate if you’re interested on the application and they will follow up with more information.

This semester Mission Bit will also introduce a laptop lending program so students can continue their learning outside the classroom, go on field trips to technology companies and meet industry leaders to gain insights about their pathways to success.

If you’re a software engineer interested in volunteering with one of their courses please register online. Mission Bit is also hiring a few more instructors for this semester. Learn more about teaching with Mission Bit here.

As always, please feel free to email Stevon at if you have any questions.
