This week, the OCII Commission approved the selection of SFHDC and Mercy Housing to develop a portion of the first new affordable housing at Candlestick Point. Block 11A, as the site is known, will be a key gateway to the new neighborhood, and it is a great honor to have been chosen for this project. It is a particularly exciting moment to serve our local community as lead developer. The project will house 150 low-income families (up to 60% of Area Median Income), including approximately 38 formerly homeless families, and 5 Transitional Aged Youth families.
We are extremely grateful for our partners at Mercy Housing and LMS Architects, and for the community’s and OCII’s support. |
