ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY MEMBER
All interested Community Stewards are being encouraged to apply for the vacant Additional Community Member seat on the District 10 (D10) Implementation Committee. The Implementation Committee (IC) is a volunteer committee that was established by the Core Community Benefits Agreement (CCBA) negotiated by San Francisco community groups and Lennar Urban, the master developer of the Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point.
All applicants for the Additional Community member will submit a Resume and/or Curriculum Vitae and cover letters expressing his/her interest in the Implementation Committee. The top candidates are selected in a three step process: all will be presented to the full Implementation Committee for review and approval, forwarded to the District 10 Supervisor for further review and suggestions and thereafter submitted to the full Implementation Committee for selection. The Implementation Committee is seeking diversity. However, it is critical that all members embrace the role of steward for District 10, and have some understanding of the needs of the neighborhood.
